The Harry Miller Corporation has developed a heavy duty drawing lubricant for stainless steel and steel alloy bars and rods, which eliminates the need for pre-coating, producing a shiny finish on shaped or round bars and rods. HAMIDRAW 1846-VI is a pigmented straight-oil lubricant which is heavily fortified with extreme-pressure friction reducing agents.
HAMIDRAW 1846-VI offers the options of eliminating pre-coating, thereby reducing the risk of a marred finish which can occur where a pre-coat is followed by a wet lubricant.
HAMIDRAW 1846-VI produces: A better surface finish free of defects, improved die life, and longer intervals between repolishing.
HAMIDRAW 1846-VI is easy to remove with alkaline or detergent cleaners in spray or immersion applications.
